The clarity to move forward.

The support to make it happen.

Organisations often face important communications challenges without the senior capacity, specialist expertise, or time to address them fully. Lightmark was created to provide that support.

The consultancy offers direct access to experienced judgement, without unnecessary layers. Clients gain a partner who can enter a complex brief quickly, identify what matters, and stay close enough to the work to help deliver it.

Meet Caitlin

Senior communications experience, brought directly to the challenge.

Lightmark Advisory was founded by Caitlin Phillips, a strategic communications leader with a decade of experience helping organisations navigate change, strengthen leadership communication, and bring clarity to high-stakes challenges.

Her career has spanned Airbnb, Indeed, RVU, and NetApp, where she partnered with senior leaders to turn complex strategies and decisions into clear narratives, compelling content, and communication that moves people forward.

Experience built inside complex organisations

Caitlin’s experience spans executive and internal communication, organisational change, company narrative, employee engagement, and major events.

She has worked in global, fast-moving organisations where communication needed to do more than share information. It needed to create understanding, build confidence, align leaders, and help people see what came next.

Across her career, Caitlin has combined strategic counsel with hands-on delivery—from clarifying the central narrative and advising senior leaders to developing content, preparing speakers, and bringing complex programmes to life.

Caitlin quickly absorbs the wider context, identifies the central challenge, and creates a clear way forward.

She brings structure to fast-moving situations, helping teams focus their attention and energy where they will have the greatest effect.

Candid, considered counsel

Caitlin asks thoughtful questions, challenges assumptions, and offers an honest point of view.

Her counsel is grounded in the organisation’s objectives and a clear understanding of how communication is likely to be received.
